It promises to be another busy Bank Holiday weekend for Laois GAA clubs, with plenty of football, hurling, camogie and ladies football action taking place from Friday through to Monday.
The U-20 football and hurling championships account for the majority of the fixtures, while several clubs will also be flying the Laois flag in Leinster competition.
On Thursday, the Laois Ladies Junior Final between Portlaoise and The Heath is set to be replayed in Annanough.
Laois LGFA overturned the original result which awarded a win for Portlaoise due a mistake with the score.
The action continues on Friday evening with six fixtures, including two games in the U-20 Hurling Championship as Clan na Gael face Abbeyleix and Castletown take on The Harps.
Saturday sees three Laois clubs involved in provincial action, with Shanahoe hosting Edenderry in the Leinster Intermediate Ladies Football Championship and Milltown welcoming Portlaoise/The Heath in the Junior competition.
Camross are also in Leinster camogie action as they host Mount Leinster Rangers.
On Sunday, Clough-Ballacolla travel to Meath to face Dunderry in another Leinster camogie clash.
There are also two county titles up for grabs in ladies football, with Annanough hosting a double-header of minor finals.
Ballyfin take on St Brigid’s in the Minor B final at midday before Portlaoise and Ballyroan contest the Minor A decider at 2.30pm.
The weekend concludes on Bank Holiday Monday with five U-20 championship fixtures, including Borris-Kilcotton against Portlaoise and Park-Ratheniska/Timahoe against Rathdowney-Errill in hurling.
